19th July 1959 - A hostess is drawn through a porthole in an airplane flying above the Mediterranean Sea.

5th August 1945 - On 28th July 1945, in New York an U.S. B25-Mitchell bomber crashes into the Empire State Bulding, between the 79th and the 80th floors. In the accident, 14 people died.
From May 1945 and March 1946, La Domenica del Corriere was given the name La Domenica degli Italiani (The Sunday of Italians).

5th June 1960 - A light aircraft crashes onto a Caravelle that was landing in the Orly airport (Paris). A passenger of the Caravelle died and 18 passengers were injured.

25th September 1960 - In Santa Maria Island (Azores) a 17-year old boy hides in the landing gear cavity of an airplane, trying to go to Venezuela. He was found out in the Bahamas and he was sent back home.

1st June 1958 - A Belgian airplane crashes into a hangar in the Casablanca airport and four people survive by jumping off in a human chain just before the crash.
